Support for Planning Application No. 0327/18, Pop Up Hostel at 1a Chadwick Road, Ilford
I am delighted to write in support the planning application for the proposed Pop Up Hostel at 1a Chadwick Road, Ilford.
As you will be aware, Redbridge has a considerable homelessness problem. The Redbridge Cold Weather Centre offers some temporary overnight accommodation over the winter period. However, the real need in the Borough is for a facility that will provide a safe place to live for people who are having to sleep rough where they can receive the support they need to get back into employment and into longer-term accommodation.
I look forward to hearing that the Council have promptly approved the planning application so that the Hostel can be in operation as soon as possible.
